The Role of the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights in the European Fundamental Rights Protection Landscape
Dr. Tamas Molnar holds a PhD in public international law (ELTE, Budapest – summa cum laude; title of dissertation: “Incorporation of international legal norms into the Hungarian legal system”).
Since September 2016, he has been working for the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) in Vienna as a legal research officer. His areas of expertise with respect to the FRA’s work include horizontal issues of public international law; asylum, migration and borders; statelessness; as well as AI and international/EU fundamental rights law. He leads the Agency’s work on monitoring compliance with fundamental rights under the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum.
The lecture is organized by Dr. Vladislava Stoyanova as part of her Wallenberg project 'The Borders Within.'
